God has unique, incommunicable attributes which no other created thing possess. God also has communicable attributes that he can help us develop.
God is self-existent and self-sustaining. His creation adds nothing to Him. This attribute is called God’s aseity. But God came near to us; He is immanent.
We can only know God because He has revealed Himself to us. We cannot discover God on our own. Thankfully, God has revealed Himself, and He has spoken.
